My name is Ian Leishman and I am a Brisbane local and father of two children.
I live in the Moorooka community (on the outskirts of the Brisbane CBD) and I am a graduate of both Griffith University's Queensland College of Art with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication and I have acheived an Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication (Graphic Design) and a Diploma in Visual Communication (Photo Imaging) from Design College Australia.
I am a qualified PADI Divemaster and also spend my spare time capturing underwater imagery. I am an advocate and volunteer for the endangered Grey Nurse Shark Watch program.
I started using my first SLR during high school in Hervey Bay in 1993 and learnt the art of black and white photography and dark room processing. After many compact film cameras and encouragement from my Grandfather (dec), I bought my first SLR in 2001 and havent looked back since.
The world of visual communication is constantly changing, and I strive to continue to be up to date with the latest design trends.
